The Pilgrimage Begins

Soo, as I left Boone, I determined my life would never be the same as it was moments before.  With this unexpected turn in the path, I have begun my venture towards the future, which will hopefully be filled with loads of photography and fun.

The first stop on my so called ‘Pilgrimage’ is St Thomas, in the United States Virgin Islands. Good grief is it gorgeous or what?!?  I’ve been here once before, but the crystal clear waters shock me every time.  As usual, my favorite place is actually St John, a quick 30 minute ferry ride away.  This image is of Trunk Bay, the most popular snorkeling spot on the island.  The snorkel trail goes around the tiny island (south pole), and the actual beach is in the north.

This is the girl floating in the West.

Here is to new beginnings!  My hope is to see everything in the world (hehe) in a new perspective.

Peace!

Let’s try this Video Thing!

So I’ve been wanting to attempt a video for a while now, and the influence of a film production class definitely got the ball rolling.  As it was an amazing learning experience, I can’t wait to film some more and test my knack at other avenues of video.  This is a promo video for AIESEC Appalachian, which is one of the 2,100 universities that make up AIESEC, largest student run organization in the world.

Silence

Aside

First of all, if you live in North Carolina, early voting began this week!! I encourage everyone to vote, and VOTE AGAINST Amendment One on the ballot.

Voting also coincides with the National Day of Silence, which is today!  I was lucky enough to be able to shoot the event for AppState’s SAGA club.  Some really awesome photos came out of the mix!

Shooting an event in Charlotte today, and the AppState Fashion Show tomorrow! More pictures to come 🙂

Peace!

Love of Music

We can make excuses all day as to why I haven’t posted in ages…Or we can shrug it off, and be happy 🙂

Stephanie here plays the Euphonium, and could put anyone to shame anytime she plays.  Her recital was in February, and it was phenomenal!    Recital hall lighting is extremely fun to play with and I encourage everyone to try it!! (Slightly sarcastic)

Another post is coming Wednesday! Peace.

Bad Decisions

In order: Megan Ternes, Matt C. Hirschy, Caitlin Caudle Fashion hookup by ASULikeitNC’s Megan Ternes.

Back in the day, I rode my bike the ten miles from our beach place right past this gorgeous location.  Let’s go ahead and say it’s Africa, cause it sure did seem like it as we sang The Lion King and Nicki Minaj (a great combination, don’t lie to yourself).  The second location shoot will be up in a few days.  Peace!

Something New

Me, Caitlin CaudleMatthew C. Hirschy, and Megan Ternes

Props to Megan Ternes for the awesome fashion expertise!!

How do good friends meet? The most random of circumstances.  Hitting the road was the start to such an enlightening weekend.  ‘Let’s do a shoot!!’ was an understatement to the excitement that developed in the photos we created.  I’ll post the finished product within the next couple of days.  Peace!
